【Description】This product is white or light yellow powder.

【Pharmacological Effects】

Pharmacodynamics: Enrofloxacin is a broad spectrum bactericide for fluoroquinolones.

Pharmacokinetics: This product is well absorbed by most animals when taken internally.

【Drug Interactions】

• It has synergistic effects with aminoglycosides and broad spectrum penicillin.
• Ca++, Mg2+, Fe3+, Ab3+ and other heavy metal ions can chelate with this product, affecting the absorption.
• Combined with theophylline and caffeine can inhibit the metabolism of the latter, and the concentration of theophylline and caffeine in the blood is abnormally increased, and even cause symptoms of theophylline poisoning.
• It can inhibit liver drug enzymes, and the combination of drugs metabolized in the liver can reduce its clearance rate and increase the blood drug concentration.
• Prosulfa can inhibit the secretion and excretion of renal tubules and prolong its half-life.

【Indications】Quinolone antibiotics. Used for bacterial disease and mycoplasma infection in chickens and racing pigeons.

【Dosage and Administration】For this product. Mixed drink with water: 0.25 ~ 0.75g/L for chicken,twice a day, for 3 ~ 5 days; Racing pigeon 2.5g/L, used for 3 to 5 days.

【Adverse Reactions】

(1) May cause cartilage degeneration in young animals, resulting in claudication and pain.

(2) Digestive system reactions include vomiting, abdominal pain, and abdominal distension.

(3) Skin reactions include erythema, pruritus, urticaria and photosensitivity.

【Precautions】

(1) Chickens that lay eggs for human consumption shall not be used during the laying period.

(2) Black bone chicken is prohibited.
