Amoxicillin Injection

No.2
VETERINARY USE ONLY
  • Amoxicillin Injection

Description

  • 【Product Name】Amoxicillin injection
  • 【Active Ingredients】Amoxicillin
  • 【Description】This product is a suspension of fine particles. The fine particles sink after standing and become a uniform off-white suspension after shaking.
  • 【Pharmacological Effects】β-lactam antibiotics. Amoxicillin inhibits the synthesis of bacterial cell walls, causing bacteria in the growth phase to quickly become spherical bodies and then rupture and lyse. It has good antibacterial activity against sensitive Gram-positive bacteria and some Gram-negative bacteria, such as Pasteurella multocida and Mannheimia hemolytica, but the β-lactamase produced by some strains can inactivate amoxicillin.
  • 【Indications】Used to treat livestock and poultry infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus), Gram-negative bacteria (Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella), etc.
  • 【Dosage and Administration】Calculated based on amoxicillin. Intramuscular injection: single dose, 15 mg per kg body weight for cattle. If necessary, inject again after 48 hours.
  • 【Adverse Reactions】
  • This product may cause allergic reactions, and occasionally severe allergic reactions such as anaphylactic shock may occur.
  • A few animals have mild local reactions at the injection site, which last for a short time and can be recovered without special treatment.
  • 【Precautions】
  • It is contraindicated for animals allergic to β-lactam antibiotics; animals with severe renal insufficiency, anuria, and oliguria;animals resistant to amoxicillin.
  • Amoxicillin has not been found to have teratogenic effects, cytotoxicity, and embryotoxicity in experimental animal studies, but no relevant studies have been conducted on the tolerance of target animals during pregnancy and lactation. Therefore, the use of this product in pregnant and lactating animals should be subject to a risk-benefit assessment by a veterinarian.
  • Macrolide, sulfonamide, and tetracycline antibiotics can inhibit bacterial protein synthesis. Simultaneous use with these antibiotics can reduce the bactericidal effect of amoxicillin.
  • Shake well before use.
  • No more than 20ml per injection site.
  • People who are known to be allergic to β-lactam antibiotics should avoid contact with this product. If it comes into contact with skin or eyes accidentally, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Injection, inhalation, oral administration or skin contact with β-lactam antibiotics can cause allergic reactions. If you experience symptoms such as rash after contact with this product, you need to seek medical attention; if you experience serious symptoms such as swelling of the face, lips or eyes or difficulty breathing, you need emergency medical treatment.
